Infidelity

Has your relationship changed ever so subtly or not so subtly? Is your spouse or lover suddenly spending inordinate time away from home? Is your spouse cool, distant or moody?  Does your spouse make excuses for where they have been?  Has your spouse lost interest in cuddling or in sex?  If any of these questions elicit a positive response, your spouse or lover may be cheating.

DNA Paternity Test

IS YOUR SPOUSE OR LOVER A CHEAT?

During and after sexual activity, semen, vaginal fluid, saliva and epithelial cells may be deposited on undergarments, panties, bed sheets, clothing, upholstery or other surfaces.   Sperm can last as long as 3–5 days in the vagina and remain identifiable for years as dried stains.

The following three procedures may be used to identify suspicious stains:

  • Semen Screen
  • Saliva Test
  • DNA Test

DNA Paternity TestNational statistics confirms . . .

  • A large percentage of spouses cheat during marriage, or a committed relationship;
  • Many divorces in the United States are results of infidelity; and
  • Almost 10 % of spouses who have affairs wind up marrying their lovers.

Please contact us or book an infidelity test and find out how one of these tests can help you determine whether your spouse has cheated.

Our "Testing Labs"’ Services

Articles, such as underwear, clothing and bed sheets containing suspicious stains can be rapidly and reliably screened for the presence of semen employing a combination of three techniques: ultraviolet illumination, prostrate specific antigen (p30) and microscopy.  Even when a man has had a vasectomy, his is still be detectable.

Ultraviolet Examination

Ultraviolet (UV) light is a popular tool in forensic investigations for presumptive identification of body fluids on a variety of items.  Bodily fluids such as semen, saliva, perspiration and vaginal secretions fluoresce naturally under UV light and offer a discriminating method for locating stains which might otherwise be invisible to the naked eye.  Once the stain located, presumptive testing can be conducted utilizing the p30 and microscopy techniques.

Prostate Specific Antigen (p30)

Prostate specific antigen, also known as p30, is secreted into seminal fluid.  The p30 test is an extremely sensitive, presumptive technique that allows for the low level detection of seminal fluid in stains. This technique is extremely powerful as it can confirm the presence of semen even in samples from sterile men or men who have had a vasectomy.

Microscopy

Sperm heads can be accurately identified based on their morphological characteristics via microscopy.

If you find suspect stains on your spouse’s or lover’s underwear, clothing or bed sheets, that item may be sent to the laboratory for DNA Testing to confirm whether the stain is only from your spouse or your spouse and another person.

DNA Paternity Test Biological stains resulting from sexual activity often contain a mixture of both male and femaleDNA.  The female DNA usually originates from epithelial cells from the vaginal wall, the mouth or skin, while the male DNA comes from sperm cells.  After the stain is extracted, a DNA profile is then created. If the DNA reveals that the stain is from 2 people (your spouse and another person), Paternity Express can use DNA testing to show whether or not you are the second person or someone unknown. This is accomplished by having you submit your cheek swab. Paternity Express testing labs will then compare your DNA profile to the DNA profile obtained from the item you provided, and conclusively tell you whether or not you are the second person.

If you suspect your spouse / lover of infidelity but have been unable to detect a physical say what the stain is, it may be the undetectable stain is a result of oral sex.  Ultraviolet (UV) light can be used to locate the stain.  When the stain is located, a Saliva Test or Semen Screen can be used to determine the stain’s origin.
