A Maternity DNA test is used to determine whether a woman could be the biological mother of a tested child. Just like the paternity test, there is a comparison of the child’s DNA pattern with the alleged mother of the child to determine the likelihood that the child’s inherited the mother’s DNA
For a maternity test the child his or her alleged mother, and biological father are tested. Like the Paternity test, the father’s participation in the maternity test helps to exclude half of the child’s DNA, leaving the rest for comparison with the alleged mother. When the father is unavailable for sample collection, a fatherless test may be performed. Performing a fatherless test involves additional analysis, without an additional charge
The immigration maternity test is one of the tools the immigration / Homeland Security is using to establish a biological relationship between a mother and a child she wishes to sponsor and bring to the United States for permanent residence. The test must be performed by an AABB approved laboratory and results must be sent directly from the AABB lab to the consulate involved in whichever country they are wanting to immigrate from. Our testing labs have performed many immigration maternity tests in nearly all the countries of the world.

There are many different applications for DNA testing that have been discovered as the science has evolved from the paternity test, and one of the more modern uses involves people moving from one country to the other. Immigration DNA testing has come into favor in its own right to the point that there are many International Embassies that use the results from this derivative of the more popular paternity test.
Immigration DNA Testing needs to be performed in laboratories accredited by the AABB so that the results can be trusted. When you consider that a family’s reunification can often hang in the balance, it becomes necessary that these Embassies and government agencies choose the best facilities.
That’s where paternityexpress.com excels. They’ve got a global network of sample collection facilities as well as a team of highly trained professionals at each locale. These people are no strangers to the requirements of the international immigration community either as they routinely provide kits to U.S. Embassies and Embassy-Approved Panel Doctors.
Immigration DNA testing is as procedure that needs to be taken seriously since the balance of a family’s reunification can hang in the balance.

Permanent residents, also known as “green-card holders”, may petition (ask the USCIS for permission) to bring their unmarried children, husband, or wife into the United States, whereas citizens can petition on behalf of a spouse, a parent, children or siblings.
If for any of the scenarios above (except for a wife or husband) there is insufficient documentation of a biological relationship, the USCIS may request proof of any claimed biological relationship in the form of a DNA test to confirm that a biological relationship exists. The DNA test requested may take one of the following forms: a paternity test; a maternity test, or a siblingship test often collectively referred to as “immigration DNA testing“ .Although USCIS is requesting the testing, it does not mean that they will cover the cost of immigration DNA testing. The person making the petition (the petitioner) or the beneficiary (the person who will immigrate to the U.S.) is responsible for payment of fees for the test. Usually the embassy / consulate will provide a list of approved doctors (”panel doctors”) from which the petitioner may select or provide his/her preference from that list to the company they have selected to do their relationship testing.
A petitioner or his beneficiary can expect to pay the fees to have the DNA testing done. These fees are for the DNA test itself, their (petitioner and beneficiary) sample collection, and three-way shipping: (1) kit(s) to Embassy or Collection site in the foreign country; (2) return shipment of the samples from the foreign collection site to the laboratory in the U.S.; and (3) shipment of the report and requested documentation back to the requesting Embassy / Consulate. The procedures may be outlined as follows:
- Send sample collection kit(s) to the foreign Embassy or Collection site
- DNA Collection of Petitioner
- DNA Collection of Beneficiary
- Return Shipment of Samples from Foreign Country to our lab
- Ship Final Report to requesting Consulate / Embassy
At Paternity Express, our testing labs are AABB accredited laboratories with over 35 years of collective experience, and they have processed hundreds of thousands of relationship tests or “immigration DNA tests”.

Because your individual paternity test case is unique to you, it is private and confidential, and most companies handle DNA cases individually, and confidentially. Paternity Express recognizes that your case is unique and should be handled with the utmost confidentiality; the procedure is private and discreet and carried out at our laboratory.
Also, in infidelity DNA testing cases, it is likely that the spouse ordering the testing may confront the cheating spouse if it turns out that indeed that spouse has been cheating. However, the lab will never release test results about any DNA testing whatsoever, without first obtaining written, notarized, authorization for the release of their testing; and that release would be limited to the specific occasion, and to the individual or entity to which the specific occasion referred. If another release is necessary, the ordering person would have to provide yet another release. So, you see, unless the person involved in the DNA testing authorizes the release of their test to another person, your test results will be known to the testing lab only.
The only exception to this rule is immigration testing where the test subject provides a third party written request from a consulate / immigration / Homeland Security for specific relationship DNA testing, whereby the immigration needs th result as proof of the claimed relationship. The AABB lab is obligated to turn over directly from itself to the requesting branch immigration the results of a particular DNA test it requested. If the requested test is not turned over in the time alloted (most immigration requests gives the petitioner a set time to get the report back to them) then they immigration may proceed to make its decision without the test. Most people pay strict attention to their “deadline” date and our labs are well aware of this so turnaround time is speedy, usual two to three business days, and the report is sent directly to the requesting branch of immigration / consulate / Homeland Security. It is imperative that the client provide the “immigration letter” requesting a DNA test, as this determines the speed with which their testing is done.
Whichever DNA testing you need Paternity Express can provide that service at a reasonable rate wherever in the world you are located.

A Maternity DNA test determines whether a woman could be the biological mother of a child. It is similar to the DNA paternity test, and compares the child’s DNA pattern with that of the alleged mother to determine how likely it is that the child has inherited DNA from the alleged mother. Maternity tests are being used to prove:
- biological relationships in immigration cases
- confirm that an embryo conceived through in vitro fertilization was implanted into the correct woman
- resolve baby mix-up in nurseries or reunite adoptees to their biological mother.
In a maternity test, the child, alleged mother, and biological father are tested. The father’s participation in the maternity test helps to exclude half of the child’s DNA, leaving the rest for comparison with the alleged mother. If the father is not available, a fatherless test may be done and this involves additional analysis, without an additional cost to our client. Most recently the USCIS seems to be asking for maternity testing when biological relationship is being claimed between the mother and her offspring. It should be noted that although they (USCIS) are requesting proof of a biological relationship by way of DNA testing, and will provide a list of panel doctors to the petitioner and the beneficiary, the expense for the test is the responsibility of the petitioner and the beneficiary.
Order your DNA maternity test online or ring us 1-888-292-4362. Our testing fee is reasonable and sample collection fee is minimal. Note: Because additional procedures are required by the New York State Department of Health, collection fees may vary for appointments made in New York.)

At the height of modern science, a paternity test has many social applications designed to save people emotional hardship. The most common of these tests can determine with 99% accuracy the father of a child. Of course one of the more common scenarios involves a man who denies he is the biological father. In cases of this sort DNA testing is admissible in a court of law and the person in question can be made to live up to their responsibilities.
DNA Samples
Several different methods may be employed, one of the more common involves collecting DNA samples right after a child is born. The most common method to collect DNA samples is a buccal (cheek) swab although blood, hair, or semen samples may also be used. Samples are collected from an alleged father and the child in question; the mother’s participation helps to narrow the DNA field considered.
Paternity Testing
Of course there are other methods available, one that is fast becoming quite common the prenatal test which must be performed by an OB-GYN. Regardless of the method that is employed, a paternity test is conclusive in determining the father of the child.
As one might expect, this science has branched out and is finding more modern applications as in immigration testing. This new area has found its place with the American Immigration services that now requires most applicants prove biological relationships as part of their petition for entry into the United States. They require an AABB approved lab within the United States perform the testing. Samples are routinely collected at embassies or approved clinics around the globe and sent back to a U.S. Lab for testing.
Immigration Testing
The best of these laboratories will generally report findings back to the requesting embassy within only several business days; the results for these immigration testing procedures are considered to be 99.9% accurate.
Whether you need a paternity test or immigration testing, it is important to select the right laboratory with proper certifications, training and expertise that will provide accurate results and enable families to reunite as well as to let everyone involved know their responsibilities
