If the requested test is not turned over in the time alloted (most immigration requests gives the petitioner a set time to get the report back to them) then they immigration may proceed to make its decision without the test. Most people pay strict attention to their “deadline” date and our labs are well aware of this so turnaround time is speedy, usual two to three business days, and the report is sent directly to the requesting branch of immigration / consulate / Homeland Security. It is imperative that the client provide the “immigration letter” requesting a DNA test, as this determines the speed with which their testing is done.
